Bottle, at Ölhallen 7:an, Kungstorget. It pours a black body and a dense, creamy, dark beige head leaving lacing. Burnt aroma with some roasted malt hints and toffee. Borderline diacetyl, with prune notes, chocolate and charcoal/ash. It's medium bodied and nicely carbonated, quite dry, yet with a sweet finish. Roasted and burnt malts, tending towards charcoal ash and dried fruit. Nice, in a classic way. 240725

Bottle from a supermarket in Deptford. Creamy, chocolate aroma, cocoa, hazelnuts, caramel, cafe au lait. Also Fruity, grape and apple. Complex nose. Black with a huge, off-white head. Rich malt flavor, lots of chocolate and caramel, coffee, low acridness, medium sweetness. Roasty, toasty. Nutty finish. Wow. Maybe the best Guinness of all? Nice.
