Bottle, 0.50l, shared with Patrick. Aroma of caramel, chocolate, roasted malt and nuts. Pours pitch black color with medium sized frothy light brown head and sparkling appearance. Taste starts with mild to medium sweet and rich roasted malt and nuts, following is grassy and earthy with mild fruity acidity, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is average bitter. Dark brown color with high beige head. Aroma: roasted malt, caramel, sweet red berries. Taste: roasted malt, caramel, sourish, bit of a watery feeling, feels bitter from roasted malt. Medium body, moderate carbonation, moderate bitterness. Not very typical Porter.

--Bottled at Bishop's Arms, Falun. -- Pitch black, rich firm creamy head. Tarry licorice aroma. Mid dry with solid body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Caramel, coffee and resinous pine. Licorice and tar. Resinous bitter finish. Rough and powerful.

Flesje gedronken tijdens vakantie. Diep donkerbruin bier met beige schuimkraag. Aroma van caramel en chocolade. Smaak van donker fruit, chocolade en karamel. Nasmaak is iets bitter.

Tolles Porter. Optisch nahe am grossen Bruder, geschmacklich auch die Guinness-üblichen Röstnoten, zugleich aber auch sehr komplexe Bitteraromen und viel mehr Kohlensäure.

50 cl bottle. Near black with a thin lightly tanned head. Sweet aroma with roasted malts, coffee, honey, fruits and herbal hoppy notes. Taste is light sweet. Medium bodied. Slightly drying roasted fruity finish with lingering honey and toasted bread. Fine Porter.
