Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a clear deep copper body that supports a tan head. The aroma offers up prunes, brown sugar and molasses. The taste delivers a pulse of cherry, dates and prune fruity sweetness leading to brown sugar and molasses. To midway a nice yet modest in strength kettle caramelization creates another tasty facet to the experience. This is a real nice English barelywine sipper.
