Draft @ the brewery. Pours a dark brown color with a small off-white head. Has a slightly roasted malty hoppy bitter caramel aroma. Slightly roasted malty hoppy bitter caramel flavor. Has a slightly roasted malty piney hoppy bitter caramel finish.

From tap at the brewery. Dark brown to black color with off white to beige head. Roasted malty and light hoppy aroma, chocolate, oat, pine. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

On tap at Local Barrel. Pours a dark brown with medium beige head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is roast, pine, cocoa. Medium body, chocolate, roast, pine, bitter finish, good.

Draft. Blackish beer with a tan head. Chocolate and light grapefruit aroma. Chocolate ad light grapefruit flavor with light pine. Medium bodied. Chocolate and light roast lingers with light grapefruit.

Re-rate 1/25/17: Draught at Local Barrel in Santa Rosa. Dark brown. Roast, piney and leafy hops. Dry, bitter. 6/3/7/3/14=3.3

[2/3/16] Draught at Faction Brewing in Alameda. Very dark brown. Aroma of roast, piney hops. Bitter flavor with roast, piney hops. Medium-bodied. 6/3/7/3/13=3.2

Keg at Hamiltons Tavern, SD, 12/11/14. Extremely dark mahogany brown meets light black with a decent tan covering. Nose is light florals, earthy hop, charr, hint of coffee, dark red berry fruits. Taste comprise dank hops, pine, liqourice, spice, bitter tropicals. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a dank hop presence. Decent CDA.
