This beer gets quickly in control of your tongue. Starting right at the front of it where you can feel the sweetness of the malt backbone, sliding way down to the back of your tongue where it unleashes it’s untamed bitterness. You think you know what goes into a beer but you have no idea what this beer is made of. Suffice to say that one of the main ingredients is star dust from a comet’s tail. Now get back to drinking your beer so you can understand what we’re talking about.

Draft at the taproom in Bucharest. Gold with a frothy, white head. Papaya and passion fruit. Bitter throughout. Lingering resin. Medium bodied, dry. Simple but pleasant. I like saying the name.

From tap at the Ground Zero hangar, Bucharest. Tropical and fruity aroma with pine resin, orange, grapefruit, some pale malt. Mild sweet and medium bitter. Plenty of orange, pine, simply a fine Double IPA.

From bottle at Beer O’Clock in Bucharest 11.09.23. They had it on tap, but insisted only on serving it in 0,5 litres measure. A strong beer like this should be served in an appropriate glass and an appropriate measure. So I went for a 0,33 bottle, which is probably more expensive than 0,5 from draught. Aroma of chives , sorrel and rotting grass. Similar taste with pine and grapefruit bitterness and alcohol. Not great. Perhaps it had been better fresh on draught.

Huge, stable, off-white head over veiled, very carbonated golden beer, textbook lace. Inviting C-hops, bit lime-like, but also Linden (blossom); other citrus(peel), bananapeel. Bitter, C-hops, exotic fruit & resin, citruspeel and -oils; vegetable frying oil in the aftertaste. Well-carbonated, very hopoily feel, but also creamy from the indestructible head. Quite good. Txs to Stef!

Hazy golden orange with an off white head. Aroma of citrus, green weeds and big cheesy caramel malt. A bit much. Flavour is light heavy sweet and bitter. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap. Tropical fruit peel nose. Medium light body, fresh, nice passion fruit. Good balance, great example of the style.

On tap at Beer O'Clock 2, pours an opaque cloudy orange with a medium white head. Aroma brings out herbal notes, biscuity malt, and cleaner notes. Flavour is totally fucked up indeed, with resinous hops, cleaner notes, rotting vegetables, and cabbage. Rotting and sewer-like. This is totally undrinkable.
