This beer gets quickly in control of your tongue. Starting right at the front of it where you can feel the sweetness of the malt backbone, sliding way down to the back of your tongue where it unleashes it’s untamed bitterness. You think you know what goes into a beer but you have no idea what this beer is made of. Suffice to say that one of the main ingredients is star dust from a comet’s tail. Now get back to drinking your beer so you can understand what we’re talking about.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Lior D's place. Thanks Max. Slightly hazy golden. Fruity hops, a bit stale, some sweetish malt, a bit of alcohol, bitter finish, medium-bodied.

Bottle at Viniloteca. Semi-hazy amber pour with an off-white head. Notes of fresh pineapple, pine resin, malt sugars, citrus hops. Juicy, smooth mouthfeel, medium body and carbonation, hoppy bitter finish. Classic west-coast hop profile, really well executed.

Bottle. Pours quite hazy Amber, small beige head, decent lacing. Aroma is pine, floral notes, something weird, pickle, brett. Flavor is light plus sweet, light bitter, noticeable Brett funk. Medium body. Why the hell is this a Brett IPA??? Although i have no complaints.

Stark süß hopfiger Beginn, würzig, Noten von Honig. Mild bitterer Mittelteil, deutlich ansteigend. Die vorhandene Alkoholigkeit steigert sich, brennend im Nachhall. 10/11/10/8//9

BOTTLE 33 CL from Berero. Batch 82, ~3 weeks old. Clear deep amber, peachy head. Not super intense, but very well defined hoppy aroma - ranging from tart pale stone fruit (apricot peach) to lemony/pine-apple, light pine, light grassy/vegetal, supporting caramel and nice alcoholic spice. The taste is more malt-forward, with background hops, balanced piney bitterness. Medium body, good as a sipper, but not too sticky or cloying. Clean and well polished. Very nicely done and better than last winter. 8-4-8-4-16.

23-FEB-2016. BOTTLE 33 CL from Berero. Almost clear deep amber, light beige creamy head. Big malty nose, with grapefruit freshness and some tropical fruit supporting it. Similar flavour, big malts, moderate hops, string yet smooth grassy finish. Clean and smooth mouth feel. Quality stuff. 8-5-7-4-15=3,9

Many thanks to ciocanelu for this bottle. Smooth and intense floral with lots of great hops. Pine, resin together with a full-bodied and not too sweetish beer. Hints of grain, fresh and round, nice and typical. Great intense brew!
