Is a robustly flavored ale made with top fermentation ale yeast. The beer is lightly hopped and black malt gives it darker color. The fruity ale-like esters blend well with the subtle hoppiness and hints of coffee/chocolate to deliver a unique beer.

Clear brown color, short off-white head. Aroma of licorice, bit laurel, some faint malts. Sweet taste, some caramel malt. Bitter and sticky palate.

Brown coloured body with hardly any head at all. Aroma of malt with some alcohol creeping up in the air. Light to Medium-bodied; Nothing but malt and cardboard in the taste-not too pleasing! Overall, a decent cheap beer, but really nothing special (I knew this going into it). I sampled this on draught in Melbourne, Australia at a few bars.

Dark brown. Apple aroma. Mild and toffeish. Light bodied. A hint of coffee. Rather sweet. Low bitterness. A plain, but enjoyable light bodied ale.
