50 cl bottle at Merkur,Vienna.Golden orange colour with small head. Sweet malts with some grass flavour. Not the best Heller Bock in Austria for sure.

# 3283; 11/2022. As Ottakringer Bock, alc. 6,9%. Strong aroma of alcohol, malt, honey. Brilliant deep gold body; white head. Malt, alcohol, honey, herbal, spicy. Harsh alcohol finish. Stronger pale bock, not my favorite. 0,5 l, bottle, supermarket, Vienna.

A quite decent and tasty bock. Clear deep golden color with a fine frothy head. Ok lacing. Balanced sweetness and an oily texture. Not to boozy and no sticky alcohol coming up. Caramel malty, fruity and mild herbal flavor.

Klar bernsteinfarben mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, spürbar alkoholischer, leicht hopfiger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig mit Karamell, der Alkohol ist spürbar, leicht hopfig, MIttlere bis hohe Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure. Kein Glanzlicht, plätschert vor sich hin und ist weder schlecht noch gut.

Wenn ein Penner einmal Lust auf einen Bock bekommt, so wette ich dass er dieses Produkt trinkt...mehr will ich dazu nicht sagen

Bottle, from supermarket, Hainburg. Golden color with medium white head. Aroma of fruits, honey, caramel, alcohol. Taste, fruit, hops, caramel. Bittersweet finish. Drinkable.

Bottle. Poured with a good head. A rather malty, slightly sweet aroma. A slightly dark blonde color, more like a Maerzen than a helles. Pretty good aroma, rich and malty. Rich, medium to heavy body, full malt taste. A little bit sweet, but with very good, strong hops and nice balance. Long-lasting aftertaste. Decent Austrian bock.

500ml bottle picked up at a Spar Gourmet shop in Wien. Clear golden body topped by a thin ring of foam. Late grass to the nose. Taste of mild malty sweetness with hints of fruits. Smooth and medium palate. Considering the strength the alcohol is well masked (29.11.2007).

On tap at the Berliner Bierfestival. Clear golden serving, with a small, white head. Sweet and malty nose with a little fruityness. The same goes for the flavor, but there’s a weak note of alcohol and some hops as well. Medium to full and a bit sticky mouthfeel. Quite nice, at least it was a welcomed change from all the pilsners.
