PDXAmbassador Traded this bottle to me for a New England Impy Stout, pimping! The aroma is just awesome, earthy coffee bean, mild whiskey and just a hint of brownie batter. I love that marsupial poop! Barrel is nice.
The flavor is exquisite. Full dense chocolate, with notes of vanilla, oak barrel and mild traces of whiskey. Alcohol is here but Hadley noticeable. Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy with a velvet texture. Thanks for American Craft Beer Week, this is damn amazing!
My overall, 500th Imperial Stout rating!
