Bomber for AFH’s 500th Imperial Stout.

A - Completely black with just a little red on the edges. Not much head. Pours thick.

S - The aroma is very mellow. Earthy, light, chocolate and coffee bean.

T - Tons of flavor here. The beer itself. A+. Dense with a ton of chocolate, a lot of cocoa and even some cinnamon. vanilla and espresso crema finish.

M - Very dense, only a light carbonation, thick, syrupy and fades quickly

O - This is really fantastic. Intense, thick, almost syrupy and leaves a lasting cocoa and espresso flavor at the finish.

ACBW May 2016, drunk 7/23/16, shared by Chris, thank you!!
Dark brown, mahogany-auburn body shows a super dark tan head that is poorly retained.
Vanilla, soft roast, caramel, toffee and big, phenolic, peppery, coffee notes. I’ll be damned that this isnt barrel aged. Wow. Smells woody and dry. Lots of bean and roast.
Soft, milk chocolate, nougat and vanilla in the mouth has notes of spicy, dark, roasty bitterness. Prunes, raisins, plums and soft coffee. Ultra fine carbonation and malty but nicely dried out malts. Chocolate and vanilla, with big roast and intense fudge-raisin-prune.
