opalescent dark golden to amber colour, large, dense ecru-ish head; aroma of apricot jam, linden honey, some overripe tropical fruits, some yeasty, biscuity and soy sauce notes; taste of some hoppy-ness with the same notes as can be felt in the aroma; correct one

Ambar oscura. 2-3 dedos de espuma muy duradera. Aroma dulce y tostado. Dulce también en boca, muy acaramelada, con toques de café con leche. Final ligeramente amargo. Buena pero cansina.

Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Spicy aroma. Starts strong, malty, spicy, sharp, some alcoholic notes. Bitter background, also some sourish hints. Finish could be more balanced, still some alcoholic notes. Okay.

Amber beer almost like a ’spéciale belge’ with thick, sticky, yellowish white head and brownish amber colour, slightly hazy. Fruit sweetness in the nose as well as sharp nutty malts, apple, melon, caramel, ginger, mango, yeast, cookie dough, nutmeg and some beginning oxidation. Fruity taste with strong and mineral-like carbonation, very caramelly and strongly nutty malts, orange touch, light herbal, peppery accents and leafy, medium long hop bitterness in the finish which is also dried out by the strong carbo. A bit too strong, actually.

bottle from Hyperboissons Dijon. Amber colour, mid-sized off-white head. Light- to medium-bodied, malty start with a herbal touch and a shy hoppy finish.

Appearance: Chestnut brown, clear. Some light tan head. Aroma: Definitely caramel, sweetness lies therein. Some malt. Taste: More caramel, malt and sweetness, slight bitterness. Quite nice, to be honest. Info: 750ml bottle, 20/9-2011
