bottle from trhe vending machine at the brewery. Golden colour, small white head, aroma of paprika powder and chili. Malty start, very, very hot chili flavours tuning in at once, killing any other flavour that might be present. Hot, hot, hot. No, no, no. Never ever again.

Tap at 7 Stern. It pours hazy golden yellow with a small white head. The nose is cooked green vegetables, chilli skin, spice and dough. The taste is massive on the chilli front, spicy as hell, the spice consumes the base beer..... at a stretch I would say some grass, faint dough and green vegetables in the background. Finishes hot and spicy. Medium body and moderate carbonation. A novelty for sure, surly nobody enjoys drinking this?!

19/07 On tap at the brewpub. It poured almost clear golden body with medium sized head. Mild, grainy and bread malty aroma, chilli was just hinted here. Weak flavor, slightly bread malty with chilli bite coming two seconds after it and building up towards the finish. No real aftertaste, as chilli ruins the palate for some time of course. Light body probably makes chilli a bit milder and less obvious than in the similar beers, adding to drinkability. OK for a chilli beer.

RBESG ’12, Vienna. On tap at the brewpub. Slightly hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of sambal, bread. Flavour is light malty, and then just sambal, hot chillies, very hot and spicy, extremely hot finish. For lovers of liquid sambal.

Tap @ brewery during RBESG 2012. Clear golden appearance with a white head. Dull, celery/pepper/veggie, grainy, chili aroma. Burning chili pepper, bell pepper, chili powder, veggie flavor. Boring, spicy flavor with not a whole hell of a lot going on.

On tap @ brewpub, Vienna, Austria. Sampled by Kis Salétrom and Szebeni Ászok on the prelude of the 3rd Wiener Bierfest. SZÁ: Jézusom, ez durva, kurva nagy, tüzes, mint egy szuka. One-dimensional. Ez még a piros aranyos kenyérnél is durvább. KS: Ez tényleg csili, lemarja az ember torkát.

Draught at the brewpub, a touch hazy light yellow colour, honey flavour with some spiciness, flavour of honey and green chilli peppers, the heat is medium strong and lingering. Drinkable but not really pleasant or interesting.
