Bottled@RBESG 2008 Grand Tasting
Clear yellow color, not much head. Diacetylic, cardboardish nose. Sweet malty, a bit harsh hoppy flavor, some diacetyl too. Quite crappy.

RBESG2008: 2 L plastic bottle. Pours clear and almost pale yellow with a lacing white head. Aroma is mild bitter and cornish. Light bitter flavour with a mild grassy note. Mild dry bitterness and light grassy.

Bottled. Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is malts, hops, some maize. Flavour is grassy, malty, dry and a bit sourish. There are worse.

Bottled at RBESG. Clear golden. Papery nose. Sweet and very light bodied. Sharp and thin with some paper and grass. Low bitterness. Drinkable, but lacking in depth and body.

Plastic bottle(1000ml). -Golden coloured, small white head, light fruity and strong butterscotch nose. After initial strong butterscotch shock beer becomes better and drinkable. Light malty and bready with watery palate and touch of hop bitterness in the finish. Much better than similar beers from Hungary.

1l plastic bottle purchased at a Lidl supermarket (the only place where you can buy these as far as I know). Appeared on the shelves on 15.05.2008, which makes the 22.07.2008 expiry date very, very short. It’s even pasteurized... I don’t get it. Golden-yellow colour, small white head that went away immediately. A bit lactic nose... like fruit yoghurt. Odd. Some hop too though. The taste... quite watery, as expected. Dry, with some hop bite... the odd lacticity carries into the taste but not much. The hop is lemony and ok enough. All in all, not a world beater, too watery to be taken seriously, but far from offensive and as heavy said, possibly a fine summer beer.

Well, well, new croatian macro beer. Pale lager...who would say. I had 0.5 l bottle which poured pale golden with big fluffy white head that didn’t live something long. Pleasantly grassy hopped with some pale malt. Flavor quite watery but pleasant, accented hop bitterness. Big plus here is that corn is not felt although stated on the label. Finish pretty short, but pleasant bittersweet. About the average pale lager, not bad, pleasant, but too watery. Still, such light beer will be fine thirst quencher this summer I think.
