Tap at Kaapse Maria, Rotterdam, Sunday 23rd September 2018 Pours black with a slim rim of beige. Some coffee shows, there is is also a hit of lactose, soft mouthfeel, a touch of dark sticky jam. Roasty malts, a nice bite with a gentle underlying sweetness. Good stout. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6

Tap at the Borefts after Festival 2018. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a thin white head. The aroma is roasty malt, liqouirce, light caramel, hops. The flavour is moderate liquorice bitter with a light, roasty, smoky, liqouirce, dry hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish.

Sampled @ BAF Rotterdam 2018. A very dark red brown beer with a small tan head. Aroma of dark strong malt, riped red fruits, cherries. Taste of strong dark malt, liqourice, chocolate, okay.

Bottle, 0.33. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, licorice and dried fruit. Pours almost black color with thin creamy light brown head, floating particles and sparkling appearance. Taste starts with medium sweet and rich roasted malt and licorice, follows by chocolate, nuts and coffee, mouthfeel is warm and alcoholic, while finish is moderate bitter. Medium body, creamy texture and average carbonation in palate. Can be a good night stout as well...

Bottle. Black pour. Aroma of chocolate, licorice, red fruit, soy sauce and coffee. Taste has umami soy sauce, coffee, licorice, chocolate, red fruit and a more bitter finish. Rich mouthfeel. Tasty and well-made stout.

Bottle at Pivoteka. Almost black, tan head. Aroma... Solid maltiness, raisins and dogfood. Taste...dark malts, mild plum jam, some raisins, lean, dry, solid maltiness, a bit bitter, well hidden abv. Nice.

Dark brown to black colored, medium tan creamy head. Aroma is malty, roasted malt and chocolate, some coffee, bit dark fruits, lightly burnt. Taste is medium sweet malt, chocolate, roasted malt, bit burnt notes, light coffee, medium roasty bitterness and roasty aftertaste, dryish. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, bit creamy. Bottled 330ml. -from Pivoteka Zagreb. Black coloured, medium sized brownish head, dark chocolate and alcohol in the nose. Roasted malt, chocolate, dried fruits, over-ripe fruits also, notes of chocolate and roast in the finish. Had better had worse.

Draught @ BAF 2017 [ Borefts After Festival: BAF! ] @ Brouwerij Kaapse, Veerlaan 19-D, Rotterdam, Netherlands 3072 AN. [ As Kaapse Tineke ].Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, cocoa, molasses, chocolate. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, malt bitter, mollases, chocolate, sweet malt, dark malt, wood - tobacco.
