Test vom 13.8.2008, Gebinde: PET Noten: 1,3,3,2,2,2 - 2,20

Bottled, from Belgrade. Clear golden, fairly rich head. Aroma of citrus and boiled vegetables. Fairly light bodied with clean, rounded mouthfeel, notes of orange. Low bitterness. A decent enough industrial lager.

big ugly brown bottle(2000ml). –Golden coloured, medium white head. Fresh hoppy and slight bready aroma, refreshing but absolutely unnecessary brew, because there’s already pils and premium in MB assortiment.

2l bottle shared with ozujsko (thanks!).A new MB beer. Guess they’re trying to pull off two brands. Faux German MB, and, ummm... MasterBeer, the cheap brand ? Who knows.... Don’t know why they bothered with yet another 5% pale lagerish beer anyway. To the beer. It’s golden coloured (surprise surprise), with very lively and numerous tiny streams of carbonation. Big, fluffy, thick chemical-style white head that went away quite slowly. Slightly sub par lagerish sour, dry, dusty nose. It tasted initially a lot like rice crispies. Then the herbal style hops came and set up their reign, over the aforementioned crispies and some breadiness. It ended up a bit weakly and on a stale note. Hm. It’s ok for what it is, but nothing special, and nothing I would seek out.
