Ahogyan a nevében is benne van egy igen markánsan keserű amerikai stílusú India Pale Ale, de nem csak a keserűségében jeleskedik, hanem az Amarillo komló erősen gyümölcsös ízvilágából is sokat kapunk.A komlóforralás alatt hozzáadott komló mellett, még hidegkomlózáson is átesik a sör, ami még jobban előtérbe hozza az Amarillo komló stílusjegyeit. Egy igen keserű, de annál többrétűbb felsőerjesztésű sör.

Bottle @ Hotel Three Corners, Budapest. Pours slightly hazy golden with a creamy white head. Aroma of light malt, grass, fruity hops, peach, little strawberry, light citrus, grapefruit. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter, malt, fruit, light citrus. Medium body, average carbonation, light warming alcohol. 010415

On tap at Jónás Kézműves Sörház, Budapest. Pours hazy dark orange with off-white head. Hoppy aroma. Good malty base, floral hoppy flavor with lasting bitter finish. Good one.

Draught at Legenda Sör Főzde craft beer truck (just by Lehuto), Budapest, on June 20, 2014.Hazy copper oxide color, yellow to teal head. Hoppy, cream, herbal, cherry taste. Cherry (not intense, just a whiff) aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel, high bitterness. Sweet, cherry, hoppy scent.

Small offwhite head. Clear amber body with carbonation. Resiny alcoholic tropical fruit taste with mealy notes. Sweet resiny grape taste with raisiny notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish fruity grape and resin aftertaste with alcoholic notes. Decent, but too dense and alcoholic. (0.33l bottle at Csak a jo sör, Budapest.)

Bottle at home, bought from Budapest, 18th January 14. Lovely fruity IPA, pours clear, unusual hop taste some yeast, astringent notes. Overall a very enjoyable drink, can’t get the 8.2 by taste at least....

24/08 A 0.33 l wonderfully designed bottle of this Hungarian IPA was bought at Csak a jo sör, Budapest (I think). It poured hazy reddish brown body with smaller white head. Citrus, dry hop aroma, pleasantly rounded with light biscuit malt. Lightly bitter flavor, again, citrus attack, orange especially with lime and similar herbal notes. Medium bodied, somewhat sweeter near the end. Really nice, simple, yet effective. Alcohol is hidden superbly, it does not feel like more than 6%, although it means it could be more complex as well.

Wasn’t expecting such a fruity, well-balanced and ultimately drinkable beer going by the label which suggested something more bitter. Has an inviting dark-orange body, with a malty, oily texture & currants, honey and tropical elements coming through. Very nice indeed.

dark amber colour, moderate creamy off-white head; aroma of dried fruits, hops and hint of citrus; taste is not as bitter as expected, notable malty/honey sweetness and fuity notes can also be felt; long lasting bitter aftertaste
