A strong brew, Parislytic is an Extra Special Bitter that packs a full-flavoured punch thanks to a robust blend of malts bringing out layers of chocolate, coffee, caramel and nut. Our brewers have balanced an intense maltiness with aromatic Bobek and spicy Challenger hops, creating a clear, dark, ruby-coloured ale with a silky smooth head and a rich, lingering flavour.

'Brew d'Ausone' in Bordeaux. 'Brew de l'Industrie' in Toulouse.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden deep amber with an initial. Light roated malty flavour with a light breadish note. Flavour follows this closely and adds a bit of liqourice along a light sweetness to the impressiin. Ends mild roasted and lingering liqourice.

Not too bad. Had at the Paris location on college night. Pours a hazy deep brown with a thin but ultra creamy white head. Lacing was a bit weak. Aroma was odd for an esb, it was brown sugar, dried fruits and some citrusy tang. Taste was quite tangy. Went down quite smoothly.

Draught at the Frog & Rostbif pub in St. Denis
Amber color; creamy head. Some aroma of British hops. Finally a beer with at least some body; some caramel flavor, strong bitterness, maybe too long infusion.

From a sampler at the St. Denis location. Pours a dark amber color with a medium beige head. The aroma is lightly malty. Medium body with a Killian's-ish flavor of tame malt with light hops in the background. The finish is crisp but not very flavorable. Just so-so.
