Medium, bit fluffy, just yellowish head over copperish-golden clear beer. Pale malts, bit milky/coffeemilk/caramel, fine herbs but bit ’hot’ malts. Bitterish, dry-herb flavour, bit grassy. Reminiscences of honey, but once more a Pilsner virtually without any significant sweetness... things have changed the last 20-25 yrs, when all the local bottles had diacetyl. Little flavour left for the aftertaste, however. Yeast-filled slickness, light to medium bodied; medium carbonation. Another very decent Czech Pilsner. Thanks to Peter!

30/09 A 0.5 l bottle at Mali Flek, Split, Croatia. It poured only slightly hazy golden body with medium sized head. Fresh herbal hoppy aroma touched with bread/biscuit malts. Fine, lightly sweet flavor with some sourish off notes from hops I guess. Medium bodied, gets a bit bitter like it should be in the aftertaste only. An alright Czech pils, nothing special, but not bad

Well well well... Mali Flek’s selection got much, much more interesting :). Deep golden colour I guess. Medium white head. Lovely herbal/malty nose with fruity notes, simple & effective. Fine herbal hops dominate the taste, the maltiness is quite full too, the resinous herbal hop going from the finish to the aftertaste. Well well well, quality stuff.

Bottle. Clear golden liquid with medium white head. Not that good hear retention. Aroma of bread, noble hops, light sulphur, light butterscotch, grain, grass and mineral. Taste is dry and medium bitter with notes of bread, floral hops and very light alcohol. Light to medium bodied with medium to high carbonation. Really well made, clean and true to style Czech Pilsner. Enjoyable stuff.
