Vintage 2015. purple / bourdeaux like color, small off white head. smells earthy, musty, bit smoky, barnyard, spices, bit leathery, some berry notes. nice smell. full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes earthy, lactic, berry notes, light vinegar, light black currant notes, some marzipan, wood, spices. finishes rather dry and medium sour with notes of earthy notes, berry notes and some vinegar. very nice one, great balance on the taste. very nice to drink just a tad lactic.

Pours hazy deep red witha off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, tartness, citrus and elderberries. Taste is light sweet and medium to heavy sour with a long dry, tart, berry and citrus finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft to fizzy.

Bottle from Kihoskh. Pours red brown with a little head. Aroma of elder, red berries and funk. Tart and sour taste of lime and grapes. Drinkable.

[ As Cascade Elderberry ].Clear medium brown red colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, caramel, elderberries, tart, sour, unriped grapes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, tart, elderberries, sweet malt, carmale, unriped grapes. Fra flaske på Mi2 Cardinal, mai-17: klar mørkerød mahogny med flott skum som varer. Saftig og lekker aroma og smak med hyllebær og andre sure bær, citron og bringebær. Ren, intens smak med skyhøy forfriskningskoeffisient. Tannpuss blir overflødig i kveld. En av kceldens absolutt beste.

Shared bottle at Mi2 at Cardinal 08.05.17. Dark brown. Small beige haed. Fine and acid aroma of acid fruits. Similarly dry and acid taste. Very, very good! Elderberries are evident.
