This NW style sour ale is a blend of Wheat ales that were aged in oak wine barrels with cranberries, orange peel and cinnamon for up to 14 months. Using cranberries grown along the Oregon coast, the 2015 blend offers brilliant cranberry fruit flavor with soft spice notes that offer refreshment throughout the entire year.

Bottle thnx to Jow . First RB guy I met in the US , so it will make a very nice last new beer in the US ;) Thnx bro ! Pours unclear, dark orange with a red glow to it. Small white head. Smell is dry , oaky , sour , some fruits . bit funk . Taste is very very dry, oak , intense sour, yet nothing over the top . Good amount of fruityness , dry fruity ending . Nice mouthfeel, sharp but not to high carbo . Once again , I am a fan of cascade brewing ;)

On tap at Cascade, pours a cloudy dark orange amber with a small beige head. Aroma reveals notes of cinnamon, orange peel, oak barrels, and cranberries. Flavour is wonderful, with notes tart cranberries upfront, without any notice of the cinnamon, maybe a little orange. Complex, with loads of depth and high drinkability. Excellent beer.

On tap at the Barrel House. Pours a orangeish copper color with a small white head. A woody tart berry nose, vanilla. The flavor is dead on cranberries, lactic, woody, a bit of aggressive sourness, sharp. The berries fit in perfect and shine. Very good.
