This NW style sour ale is a blend of Wheat ales that were aged in oak wine barrels with cranberries, orange peel and cinnamon for up to 14 months. Using cranberries grown along the Oregon coast, the 2015 blend offers brilliant cranberry fruit flavor with soft spice notes that offer refreshment throughout the entire year.

Draft at Borefts 2016, Day 2. Very hazy orange with a ring white head. Aroma of tart fresh cranberry. Flavour is above moderate sour. Light medium bodied with soft carbonation. [24-09-2016]

At Borefts 2016. Aroma of berries, cinnamon and tart. Taste has sourness. cinnamon, wheat, tart, oak, soft berries and a rich finish. Very good.

Tiny fizzy shortlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish fruity, soda powder, cranberries, oak, berry skin, citrus acid, cinnamon, grass. Taste is slightly sour-ish dry, cranberries, orange peel, cinnamon, oak, grass, minerals, berry skin, hints of mild vinegar. Medium bitterness, slightly dry fruity mouthfeel. Nice.

Draft @ Borefts 2016. Léger orangé-ambré col léger blanc. Arôme est modéré au niveau des canneberges rétro boisé et barrique restant dans une approche typique de Cascade. Le nez offre des effluves restant marquées de funk. Palais présente un léger boisé chêne, aigre et funk avec un léger côté critique, sureau reste plutôt discret tant il est couvert par le profile aigrelet et boisé épicé de la bière. On y perd l’ajout épicé de cannelle et de vanille indiqué sur le descriptif.

Sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival 2016, Day 1. Clear somewhat orange pinkish color, average sized white head. Smell and taste are very sour, sharp sour, something artificial, burning plastic. Don’t like it. Bleh.

van tap @Borefts 2016, iets wazig amber/oranje met witte kraag. aroma van kaneel, hout, zoet, fruitig, bressen, sinaasappel. Smaken van hout BA duidelijk aanwezig, zacht zuur, zoet, matige body, bessen, kaneel, sinaasappel, iets droge afdronk en lang fruitig. redelijk
