750 ml bottle into tulip glass; 2015 vintage bottling, 6.9%. Pours hazy orange/amber/light pink color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy light pink head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big sour lemon, lime, cranberry, strawberry, green apple, white wine, orange peel, cinnamon, hay, straw, leather, oak, pepper, wheat, cracker, light white vinegar/vanilla, and yeast/oak earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, cranberry/spices, oak, and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big sour lemon, lime, cranberry, strawberry, green apple, white wine, orange peel, cinnamon, hay, straw, leather, oak, pepper, wheat, cracker, light white vinegar/vanilla, and yeast/oak earthiness. Moderate tart/sourness and yeast/tannic oak spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of sour lemon, lime, cranberry, strawberry, green apple, white wine, orange peel, cinnamon, hay, straw, leather, oak, pepper, and yeast/oak earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, cranberry/spices, oak, and moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/sourness balance, and zero astringent/puckering flavors after the finish. Moderate dryness from carbonation and acidity. Medium-high carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, crisp, moderately acidic/tannic, and fairly grainy balanced mouthfeel that is awesome. Zero warming alcohol for 6.9%. Overall this is an outstanding fruited sour ale! All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, cranberry/spices, oak, and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and easy to drink with the moderate acidity. A highly enjoyable offering.

Thank you for sharing BE RB Crew! Sampled draft @ Borefts 2016. Day 1. Hazy orange, little white head. Nose is massive funk, fruit, reach cranberry I presume, peach, apricot, insane fruit & crazy funk. Taste is rich juicy peach, funky elderflower, sour peach, glorious elder elderflower funk & crazy fruit which is bit more peach than cranberry for me, fruit is amorphic, massive, nicely puckering. Funky solid body. Very good.
