Tap into a shaker showing no head with barely any filtering with a cloudy center of orange and pink. The nose shows extremely astringent and tart cranberries that evolves to a cinnamon spice forward. The palate is lightly carbonated. Lightly tart with oak forward flavors and a light cinnamon spice. Barely any cranberries as if the brewery was too afraid to fully express the cranberry profile due to cranberry’s strong astringency.

2016 bottle re-rate: Lots of tart cranberry, grass and hay. Oak and gooseberry. Very dry with active carbonation. Punchy and well-balanced though quite tart. Lots of cranberry all over the place. Glass at Watering Hole shared. Thanks Jon! No head and very little carbonation. Slightly fuzzy cranberry red color. Lots of oak in the nose with only a tad of cranberry present. Tart with a fuzzy tannin-like mouthfeel and on the palate. More oak and some creaminess towards the finish. Tart with a dry finish. Really missing the carbonation and needs more cranberry.
