One day. One brewery. Seven thousand co-creators. Two hundred brewers.
The result? Electric India.
This beer is the bastard love child of the craft beer revolution. An unholy union between a Belgian Saison and an Indian Pale Ale; democratically brewed by our very own Equity for Punks shareholders.
Electric India is a hoppy saison brewed with fresh orange peel, lashings of heather honey, crushed black pepper corns and enthusiastically hopped with mountains of amarillo and nelson sauvin.
A beer for the people, by the people direct from the craft beer republic of BrewDog.

Can from Booths Supermarket, Media City. Golden wheat ale with a thin head. Has a very stated style with light fruity elements including banana, and a nice dryness to its texture that feels good in the palate. Its spiciness is low.

Can at home. Aroma is very much in the Saison side - fruity, funky, cider, hints of acidity. Light body. Flavour is surprisingly complex actually, the fruitiness of the Saison (I'm still getting a lot of cider flavours) is brilliantly met by honey notes. Light hoppiness blends very well this ensemble. Finishes medium dry and acidic with a nice juicy touch. Very nice Saison!

Can. Misty golden colour. Modest white head. Aroma: danky & fruity hops, saison yeast, very refreshing. Light body. Dry taste. Fruity start. Grainy mid-taste. Very clean. The ending is a mixture of yeast and spicy hop. Medium bitterness. Interesting brew.

Dec. ’16. On tap at Brewdog Rome. It poured a hazy golden body with medium sized head. Quite pleasant hoppy aroma of herbal and sharp citrus hops with light honey and yeast. Light, but very pleasant flavor, hoppy bitter, herbal, spicy and lemony but also light more "aromatic" citrus rounded with peach, chalk and honey yeast and malt notes. Thin to medium bodied, still it has shown something regarding the style. Moderately long finish was lightly sour and bitter lemony, also rounded sweetish fruity. Not the best around but very pleasant. Proof that a saison doesn’t have to be very strong, nor very bitter to be effective.

Hazed golden color with a fine white head. Good lacing. Looks nice. Fine intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a fine carbonation level. Semi dry texture and a fine mild acidity. Citric, malty, yeast, mild fruity and some mild spiced notes. Quaffable stuff.

Bottle. Nose is peppery, lemon grass, lime, yeast; pretty spot on. Taste is strong pepper, malt, light lemon, melon, bread, light yeast. Thin body and a short peppery finish. Lightly sour, slightly dank. It’s good for a beer from ASDA.

(Bottle, 6.5%) Golden yellow colour with big, frothy, white head. Fruity, spicy nose with peaches, mandarin, crisp-bread, coriander and flowers (jasmine). Fruity, spicy taste with notes of crisp-bread, orange peel, honey, herbs and a balanced floral bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.
