One day. One brewery. Seven thousand co-creators. Two hundred brewers.
The result? Electric India.
This beer is the bastard love child of the craft beer revolution. An unholy union between a Belgian Saison and an Indian Pale Ale; democratically brewed by our very own Equity for Punks shareholders.
Electric India is a hoppy saison brewed with fresh orange peel, lashings of heather honey, crushed black pepper corns and enthusiastically hopped with mountains of amarillo and nelson sauvin.
A beer for the people, by the people direct from the craft beer republic of BrewDog.

Old bottle with 7.2%, BBE was 07-06-14. Grainy hints of a Weizen-Bock, refreshing yeast, orange and honey there. Not much bitterness (left?), refreshing herbal with tropical aspects. Peach and ripe apple there, Mango as well. Interesting combination, refreshing and still great to enjoy.

One-third pint, keg at Shuffledog. Crocheted lacing from a stable white head. Bright warm golden body. Spiced fruit hoppy aromas. Pineapple and orange to the taste buds added by momnents of dark spices. Mid-sweet hop fruity finish. Quite easy to drink. Pleasing. (Leeds 04.07.2017).

Bottle. An unclear golden-yellow beer with a dense, two-finger white head. The aroma is fruity, with a spiced touch, pale malt notes, citrus zest and pineapple. It’s full-bodied, dry and nicely carbonated, with flavors of pale malts in the back, with citrus, peppery notes and some pineapple. Fruity finish. Rather straight forward this one, but not much exciting. 170516

Bottle at home. Has a slightly hazy straw colour with a big white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, citrus, dry hay, spices and white bread. The flavor follows up with Belgian yeast, bread, citrus and has a little dry ending. Has a slick mouth feel, light to medium body and a light bitterness. A fresh and nice ale.

0.33 l bottle shared with Višnja 666. Hazy yellow, small off-white head. Citrus aroma, some yeast, very light. Notes of banana candy or other fruit. Light sour. High Carbonation, light body. This one didn’t turn out as good. Tasted again from tap at Zagreb Craft Beer Week, 2017. Better this time. Hazy yellow to pale golden, small off-white head. Spicy, fruity, orange, yeast. Dry and light tart. High carbonation, moderate to a lasting finish.

Bottle from Smokies pub, Pezinok. Very refreshing, being somewhere around 4.5 vol I can imagine it as ideal summer beer. Oh wait, this is meant to be for spring. Good then!

Pours gold from the bottle with a very light haze. Leaves a towering soapy looking white head. The aroma is an inviting mix of citrus, lemon, and is a bit yeasty with hints of clove. Nice. Taste is tart, dry lemony, but with a rising sweetness going into the finish. The aftertaste is bubblegum and clove. The body is well done - just beyond being "light", not at all watery, perfect carbonation, with nice feel in the mouth. Very süffig. I’m a fan.
