One day. One brewery. Seven thousand co-creators. Two hundred brewers.
The result? Electric India.
This beer is the bastard love child of the craft beer revolution. An unholy union between a Belgian Saison and an Indian Pale Ale; democratically brewed by our very own Equity for Punks shareholders.
Electric India is a hoppy saison brewed with fresh orange peel, lashings of heather honey, crushed black pepper corns and enthusiastically hopped with mountains of amarillo and nelson sauvin.
A beer for the people, by the people direct from the craft beer republic of BrewDog.

12oz can pours a clear gold with some frothy white head. Nose is very estery, reads more wit than anything, big with esters, coriander and bubblegum, straw, some curacao orange. Flavor follows right along, plenty of curacao orange, straw, bubblegum, a bit more soapy hop than the nose would allow you to believe, coriander, some pineapple. Finishes herbal, peppery and dry. Wow, not what I was expecting.

Bottle. Morrisons. Hazy, pale gold. Lovely, frothy, thick, lasting, bright white head. Looks ace. First thing on the nose is the honey, which I’m generally not a fan of. Lots of bready saison character. Trace of earthy hop. Soft spice. Taste is pale bread sweet. Some spice. Watery mouthfeel. Finishes more of the same. Not for me, this one.

On tap at Brewdog pub in Rome-Italy. Hazy bright gold color, minimal white foam. Nose: Belgian yeast, spicy saison, coriander. Fresh notes. Mouth: medium-high carbonation, little chili finish, dry in the end and quite easy tough tasty. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Slightly hazy yellow beer, lively head. Light hoppy scent. Flavour is hop, lemony citrus. It’s very dry, grassy, has a bit of airy spice in the aftertaste. Crisp and refreshing.
