Bottle. Pours a hazy dark brown with no head. Aromas of caramel, raisins, oaky booze and bready malts. Flavors of old oak, dry caramel, and watery toasted malts. Flat and a bit oxidized. May be the final pour of the bottle or it’s past its prime

Flaska från Vinmonopolet, 2012. Brungrumlig, ingen krona. Inte särskilt tjusig i varken glaset eller flaskan så fort bottensatsen rörts upp något. Djup sötma, mycket dessertvin, kolaremmar, johannesbröd, russin. Vitvinsfaten kommer fram snyggt. Kanske att kombinationen av oxidation och ålder tärt lite på den, men annars väldigt fin.
Alcohol, almonds, walnuts, sourish, sharp, dusty, dry apple slices
Hapu, alksine, linnaseline, kuivatatud õun, nõrgem kui teised kanged baladinid.

Bottle at home. Has a slightly hazy mahogany colour with no head. Aroma of creme brulee, fudge, some rye bread, almonds, brown sugar, oak and vanilla. Flavour of oak, leather, liqueur, creme brulee and warming alcohol in the end. A slightly sour background of rowanberries. Has a silky mouth feel, full-bodied and a light bitterness. Sweet and complex.

Bottle, 500 ml, courtesy of Miro B. Shared with him and Max. Dark brown, no head. Caramel, nutty, dried fruit, totally flat, bit sourish with some fresh fruit. Bit watery. Medium bodied.

Bière 50 cl trouvée chez Papa Rafaele à Lille. Notes de fruits confits, mélasse, caramel. En bouche, des fruits, du caramel, avec quand même un petit retour acide. Pas de bulles du tout, on n'est plus franchement dans le registre de la bière mais ça reste très bon.
