Outmeal Stout. When creating the recipe for this beer, we bore in mind what one associates with oatmeal. Hence the base was laden with a bunch of oat flakes, roasted malts and roasted barley. The end result reflects this - intensive flavours, a coffee and dark chocolate aroma and a creamy texture. So we would not smother this, we added only as much hops as was needed to delicately balance the flavour.

Draught at Pivomanija beer festival in Ajdovscina. Pours almost black with small fully diminishing brownish head. Aroma of heavy roasted malt, coffee, caramel, chocolate and oats. Taste starts with rich and sweet roasted malt, coffee, caramel and dark chocolate, following is sour grainy with smooth mouthfeel and moderate bitter finish. Full body, creamy texture and average carbonation in palate. Smooth and tasty...

16/04 Marko’s 0.33 l bottle, thanks for sharing! It poured pitch black body with big brown head. Very nice coffee, chocolate, nuts and slightly alkaline wood aroma. Flavor was slightly sweet and nicely tart, dominated by coffee that carried that distinct dry/acidic note, chocolate, chicory, toffee, while wood is obvious here as well although not intruding. Full, rather creamy body with long, slightly sweet and acidic coffee and chestnut finish. Very pleasant oatmeal stout indeed, although a bit less nutty than they usually get. Nice surprise!

Bottled 330ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with him and heavy. Deep black coloured, medium sized brown head, chocolate and light coffee in the nose. The taste is almost the same with distinct chocolate. Easy drinkable and enjoyable stout.

0.33l bottle from Za Popen’t, yeah. Poured a black body, with a cascading tan/brown head that went away relatively slowly. Chocolate, coffee and grain in the aroma, liiight sweetness, light dust, overall, quite pleasant. Taste... wow... just wow. I didn’t suspect it’d be that good. Chocolate, grain, nice, soft, sweet and balanced with some light sourness... notes of coffee... damn drinkable... well, I didn’t elaborate much descriptor-wise, but a huge, pleasant surprise.
