Outmeal Stout. When creating the recipe for this beer, we bore in mind what one associates with oatmeal. Hence the base was laden with a bunch of oat flakes, roasted malts and roasted barley. The end result reflects this - intensive flavours, a coffee and dark chocolate aroma and a creamy texture. So we would not smother this, we added only as much hops as was needed to delicately balance the flavour.

At Borefts 2016. thnx for sharing,everyone ! Pours black, small grey head. Smell is sharp, bit bitter. taste is sharp, bit bitter, roasted malts. Bit weak body.

Black with thick, creamy head. Aroma and flavour are full of rich, creamy malts. Absolutely not bitter. Smooth and easy to drink.

Rerate on 31/12/21: this is clearly a very different beer to the one I tried back in 2016. It’s a dark brown / near black with a thick creamy tan head. Aroma of cocoa powder, dark malt, light coffee notes and caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Thick mossy-beige head over near-black beer. Chocolate, bit of ashes and coffe, cacaodrink, bit of black cardamome, dry hops. Again chocolated and ashes, very dry. Faint other and dark grains. Light but crisp roast. Aftertaste yields some hoppy bitterness. If dry, creamy MF all the same - the oatmeal no doubt. Well-carbonated, feels certainly medium bodied. Quite good stout.

bottle. appearance is black, with tan head. aroma mostly coffee, chocolate, roasted malts. Taste is also full of coffee, caramel and chocolate aftertaste, creamy texture, dry. Good one, I enjoy mild hoppy finish

Thank you Mathieu87 & PriorL! 330 ml. bottle sampled @ “Epic beer Tasting 2016”. Black, little tanned head. Nose is very big roast, coffee grounds, roasted mocha, very grainy. Taste is very bitter grainy coffee, ashes, burned roast, mocha,.. Very grainy, bitter, burned roasted,… Decent & better than most other beers that I tried from these guys. I usually don’t expect something this bitter, roasted , grainy etc. for an oatmeal stout.

Swietny Stout owsiany. Pelna paleta slodu i owsianej lekkości, slodowe, palone i gozkie, potężnie wytrawne ale. Piana ciemna brazowa jakosciowa ale niewielka jak w kawie espresso crema. Sporo tu porownan wlasnie do kremowej espresso, sporo kakaa. Dluga gozkawa i oleista struktura smakowa piwa która się ciagnie długo po przelknieciu.

Kicsi, gyorsan elillanó hab, fekete szín. Illata kávés, pörkölt malátás. Íze pörkölt malátás, kávés, némi édes-savanykás gyümölcsösséggel. Alig-alig keserű. Utóízét leginkább kávés ízek uralják, hangyányi savanyúval. Közepesen testes, jól csúszó sör.
