Tap @ Borefts. Dried fruit and a hint of tobacco in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with tobacco, dried fruit. Twigs, herbal. Nice.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an almost clear amber with a lacing, off-white head. Sweet, caramellish nose with a light but hard to define spicy edge. Medium body, again caramel sweetness, but then an astringency creeps up on you that must be the juniper. Sort of a spicy Amber Ale. Not so interesting. 181218

33cl bottle from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours light amber with white foam, fine. Aroma shows off the juniper. Body is average with moderate carbonation. Taste is moderately bitter, and with some spicing (juniper, again). Finish is fairly long and bitter.

330ml bottle. Pours cloudy amber with a thick frothy off-white head. Aroma of malts, spices, juniper, dried fruits. Taste of dried fruits, juniper, sweet malts, caramel, toffee, herbal hops, light bitterness. Medium body, soft carbonation. Interesting saison, not what I was expecting but I liked it.

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet Jørpeland. ABV is 6.5%. Amber colour, moderate white head. Moderate aroma of red fruits, juniper berries and malts, a hint of oak. The flavour has a nice maltiness, but is not too sweet, again with notes of juniper berries, moderate hops. Pleasant to drink. Piney aftertaste. Not much here to remind you of a saison, though.
