bottle, thanks to kappldav123! Pale yellow, tall white head, citrusy nose. Light and elegant malty base, hints of citrus fruity and pine. Smooth palate, well balanced, with a nice hoppy punch.

01-03-19 // bottle from Getränke Hoffmann Berlin. Very clear and bright golden. White head. Light sweetish malty body. Grains. Mild bitterness. Pilsener on the more malty side. Solid.

Bottle looks very simple. Beer in the glass zippy, huge head. Starts mild, malty, fine spicy. Some nice wheaty-grainy notes. Light sweetness. Finish well balanced, soft-malty. Not bad!

Bottled, from Sagasser, Ilmenau. Clear pale golden, rich head. Grassy, spicy nose. Dry with light-medium and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Salty grass and crisp bread. Long bitter finish.

Bocken varer lige til påske. Pale golden with a lasting white head. Herbal aroma with a touch of diacetyl. Sweet malty flavour with herbal hops bready malt and diacetyl.

Bottle @ Dolles Bockstival - Bocken varer lige til påske, 5000 Odense C. Pours clear pale piss yellow with a white head. Hops, hmmh, sweat and bubblegum, overripe peach. Short bitter finish.

"Watzdorfer Festpils 1411", Flasche (33 cl) von Getränke Hoffmann, Berlin. - Goldgelb, klar. - In der Nase die typischen Standardpils-Aromen: Zitronenschale, etwas Gras, dazu Getreide, weder kernig noch elegant. - Antrunk schlank und gut hopfenbitter mit kräftiger Zitronenschale. Durchschnittliche Rezens. Trockener, gut zitronig-herber Abgang. - Recht eindimensionales Pils, schön frisch und knackig herb aber ohne Raffinesse, dafür auch ohne Fehlaromen. Immerhin ein Stück besser als das typische Fernseh-Pils.

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond mid-sized foamy head. Distinctively grainy malty aroma with notes of draff and grassy hops. Mildly bitter and slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a crisp carbonation. Soft and grainy pale malty base with herbal and slightly grassy hops; quite dry grainy malty and mildly bitter hoppy finish. Barely exciting. 13.VII.16
