La «Piet» es una Imperial Farmhouse IPA, hecha en colaboración con Kaapse Brouwers (Rotterdam). Con un dry hopping de amarillo, centennial y virutas de roble de Jerez “Oloroso”. Toda una curiosidad.

Sampled from tap at Borefts 2016. Hazy, golden yellow with a white head. Fruity-grassy, slightly funky aroma of lemon peel, peach and straw. Sweetish, fruity and slightly funky taste of orange peel, caramel and straw, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, dry finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Nice!

van tap @Borefts 2016, geel/gouden met witte kraag. aroma van gras, kruidig, hop. smaken zijn redelijk zoet, gras, hop en bijbehorend matige hopbittertje,citrus, medium body, te zoetige grassige farmhouse.

Sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival 2016, Day 1. Hazy a bit pale orange color, average sized white to off-white head. Aroma is indeed what you could expect from a farmhouse IPA. Taste lightly malts, fruitpeel tart, orangepeel bitter, tannine. Decent body and carbonation. Meh, don’t like it very much. IPA should just be IPA imo.

Sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival 2016. Fast klare orange goldene Farbe. Geruch fruchtig hopfig, Obst. Geschmack süß malzig, tropische Früchte, mild hopfig bitter.

Tap. Hazy orange color with tan head. Aroma is peach, slightly funky. Taste is peach, a bit earthy, tea-like, bitter finish. Low carbonation. A weird combination, but ok.

Tap at Borefts. Hazy golden with off white head. Sweet malts, quite some fruity hops with mango and passion fruit, resin, light funk, pineapple, lactic notes. Over medium sweet and bitter. Over medium bodied.

Heller, sehr süßer Antrunk, der so gar nicht an IPA erinnert. Trocken würzig im Mittelteil, etwas herb, mittellanger Nachhall. 10/10/9/8//9
