Bottle @ home. Hazy yellow to golden colour with a small white head. Smells banana, weizener, yeasty. Tastes grassy, some hops and some pineapple. Quite a refreshing beer. Doesn?t taste like the way it smells. Nice carbo, medium body and a bit dry.

33cl bottle courtesy of sebletitje, cool a Brussels brewed beer, pouring up slightly hazy deep gold with copper hues and tall near white head. The aroma is on the nose-prickly side with some yeast and some yeasty spice and then picking up tart citrus notes and pineapple. The taste has a fresh bright yeasty spiciness as well as lemon to lime and toward sort of a peach note or two. It has a little tartness as well and finishes crisp and refreshing but not light on flavor. Nice stuff.

Half of a comparative tasting of both Be and Que versions, thanks to the brewers! Very hazy, very carbonated grainy/straw yellow beer, very good white head. Grains, bit bready, and a short sharp solvent nose. Dry, sharp and spiced, other grains (rye), finish has a sudden hoppy (and slighlty harsh) bitterness. Light to medium bodied, well-carbonated. Very grain/malt oriented beer.

33 cl. bottle @ home – purchased from Hopduvel in Gent: (A) murky, opaque apricot yellow/orange with a creamy, solid white head – (S) thick De la Senne yeast, citrus & floral hops, slight funk & spices – (T) similar thick De la Senne yeast with a slight funk to it followed by floral (majority) with a hint of grass with underlying citrus bitterness, lots of mellow summer hay in here, spices (including coriander), dig the slight funk – (B) yeasty, touch dry, well-carbonated & thirst questing, typical De la Senne (comparable to Zinnebir but better) with a touch something new

33cl bottle. Dorée tirant un peu sur l’orangé et ayant une légère opacité, col blanc. Arôme laisse pas mal de place à des houblons nobles mettant à profit un bouquet d’agrumes fruitée et légèrement herbacé. Pointe de grains et de malt restant discret. Je note également la levure et ce profile typiquement DeLaSenne qui pour moi couvre un peu le houblon. En bouche, je retrouve cette signature de DeLaSenne avec cette levure qui en fait leur signature. J’imagine que br. Le Trou du Diable intervient dans l’ajout du houblon. On y retrouve un houblon amer et citronné laissant percé des notes d’agrumes qui sont en parfait mariage avec la levure, le tout laisse une pointe herbacée en bouche avec en retrait un malt de type pale/munich pour un style belge. Néanmoins, un houblon rappelant le Nelson Sauvin vient donner dans l’amertume une note fruitée qui passe pour un raisin blanc, très agréable. Carbonnation est modérée et donne sur la langue un profile épicé. Le tout n’étant pas agressif et bien digeste pour le volume de cette bière.
