On tap at Karavana domačih pivovarn in Novo mesto. Poured a dark brown color, topped with a rather small tan head. Aroma was very roasty, perhaps a hint of chocolate, but almost slightly smelly. Taste was sweet and quite roasty, a bit metallic in the aftertaste. Not a bad one, but something was of with it.

Little sample shared by the brewer at his brewery in Schnaid during a visit. Danke Andy for the premier. Pours black color with brownish highlights and a never ending frothy off-white foamy cap. Nose: coffee beans, nuts, some notes of chocolate and malt. Terrific. Mouth: such a great taste! Very mild coffee feel which recalls nescafe or filtered coffee, fresh maltiness, bitter finish. This was a great execution of a style made with innovation and talent, the beer results fresh and "different". Bravo!

Tap @ Eckerts, Bamberg. Pours Dark Brown nearly black with a small creamy head. Loads of good malts and quite complex. Nuts, rye, chocolate, Dark fruit, oat , hazel, caramel, bread and coffee. Smooth and soft. Really tasty and quite some flavors.
