We brewed a small family of APAs to introduce you to the might and endless possibilities of aroma hops. The same style, the same recipe, but featuring different varieties of US hops. For each batch we added the starring hop to the boil and dry hopping as well. The most exciting thing is to get acquainted with all the brothers at once, but one to one introduction would be equally appropriate. So, meet Citra. Tropical fruity rebel, full of distinct notes of passion fruit, melon, lime and grapefruit.

330ml bottle from Sophie's Beer Store. Deep golden amber pour with a good white frothy head. Leafy piney citrus character, with a vibrant sweetness and decent bitter close. Ok.

2/7/2022. Bottle shared at fonefan tasting. Pours almost clear pale gold with a frothy white head. Aroma is hoppy, citrus, grass, herb, touch of pine. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Slightly oily, average carbonation.

Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, sweet citrus sweet lemon, BBQ lemon. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average duration, sweet citrus, BBQ lemon, pale malt, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20220702]
