Tap at the brewpub... seems I had the same experience as Roman. Infected.... Pitch black with a tan head. Tart aroma, raisins, obviously off. Very prominent tartness / infection on a soft malty backbone, with notes of raisins. Huh, likely okay when fresh, but like this... no.

Mild säuerlicher, buttrig röstiger Antrunk. Geringe Würzigkeit, der Aus Ton bleibt erhalten. Mittellanger Nachhall, eher geringe Karbonisierung. Nicht mein Fall. 9/7/8/6//7

Keg at the Brewpub in Prague Day 5 of Fergus and Sarah’s Czech jaunt. 3/10/14. Opaque black coloured pour, chestnut brown, thin creamy head. Aroma is big earthy choc, hazelnut, bark, charred wood. Very malty on the nose. Flavour is big nutty, toasty malts, soft roast, some berry fruit. Touch sweet, but well rounded. Palate is medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Nice finish. Lingering earthy nuts.
