Antigoon is a hoppy wheat IPA. The beer is slightly cloudy, pale blond and has an alcohol content of 6%. The typical fullness of wheat beers is combined with a mild bitterness. The aroma is spicy / hoppy due to the combination of the typical wheat aroma and the floral citrus character of the hops used.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, pale golden colour with a big and blond foamy head. Slightly musty Belgian yeasty and mildly fruity aroma with flowery notes and delicately bready and sugary malt. Moderately sweet and shy bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Pale malt character with hints of candy, something reminding of whipped cream and restrained fruity, floral and herbal hoppy flavours in the background; moderately sweet malty and delicately sugary finish with a whiff of herbal hoppy spice. 16.II.15

Golden colour with fluffy head. Interesting flavour with yeast and candy up front and a light fruity tartness coming later.

33cl bottle, 7%. Nice label :) pours golden in color, frothy white head. Soapy, almost perfumy aroma, dried apricots as well, some wheat. Flavor is quite sweet, with some honey, malt, apricots. Finishes more dry, with some spicy notes. Drinkable, but not that fond of the sweetness.

Bottle thanks to Eric. Pours a cloudy yellow with creamy medium white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is strong funk, wheat and coriander. Medium mouthfeel with nice citrus, spice and lingering dry finish. Good.

Geel bier met schuim. Smaak is licht zoet en bitter hoppig met kruidige smaak, iets van sinaasappel. Gewoon goed bier.

Bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker, Nr Gent, Belgium, consumed at Frank, (camper), Baltic Wharf, Bristol, 2nd January 2015 Clear gold, white head, bit sticky, actually its a big sticky white head, touch of bitter spice. Really nice Belgian, fruity with a peppery, spicy edge and lasting pleasant bitterness, drying at end. Like this. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov14 3.7
