Wait, since when do skeletons have beer bellies?

Hop is one of 4 basic beer ingredients and most beers cannot be made without it. Breweries mostly use hop in the form of pellets or dried cones, but there is one more option - when it is freshly picked and added to the brew within 24 hours after the harvest. This production method is called wet hop / fresh hop. Wet hop beer is the rawest and most powerful form of enjoying hops. Adding fresh hop is somewhat difficult to control during the production stage, so it's hard to predict the final bitterness (IBU).˙

Žetva presents our interpretation of wet hop beer and we brew it once a year, during the period when co-ops in the area harvest their hops. Luckily for us, the world's fourth biggest hop grower - Slovenia - is practically in the neighbourhood. It's easy for us to drop by and get some fresh hop, and there's also a hop co-op in Bački Petrovac in Serbia. Žetva is always different, because each year we use a different variety of fresh hop. In the 2017 version, we used Slovenian variety Aurora, which used to be grown in Croatia as well (in Gregurevci near the town of Križevci). To find out which hop variety we're going to use next, you'll just have to wait for the following Harvest. ;)

Our bitterest beer, for sure. If that's what rocks your boat, try not to miss the next release.

Style: American pale ale

Hops: Depends on the harvest (Fresh Hop 2017 - Aurora)
