Schweiger Aurum, die erste Bierspezialität aus unserer Brauwerkstatt. Mit viel Zeit und handwerklichem Geschick in einem speziellen Verfahren hergestellt. Beim „Kalthopfen“ oder „Hopfenstopfen“ wird unser naturtrübes Kellerbier im Lagertank bei 0 Grad C mit einer weiteren Gabe Aromahopfen doppelt veredelt. Für Aurum verwenden wir „Cascade“, eine aus Amerika stammende Hopfensorte, die extra für uns in der Hallertau angebaut wird. Dadurch erhält unser Aurum ein ausgeprägt fruchtiges und blumiges Aroma mit Zitrusnoten und einer elegant leichten Bittere.

(bottle, 25cl) Hazy, pale golden colour with a blond and short foamy head. Citric, slightly grassy and herbal hoppy aroma with a bready malty background. Moderately sweet and mildly bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a smooth carbonation. Slightly yeasty, bready malty taste with herbal and slightly grassy hoppy notes, lingering into the mildly bitter finish with a balanced malty background. 06.IX.15

250ml bottle. Cloudy, yellow-ish golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Herbal, grassy, hoppy aroma, spicy hints of hay, a cautious touch of lemon. Taste is grassy and minimally citrusy hoppy, hints of lemon and orange, a herbal touch, some hay spiciness, supporting, protein-carrying, malty basis. Refreshing, well balanced, skilful hop usage - nice.

Braukunst Live München 2015. Pours a yellow color. Grassy, harsh malty aroma. Light bodied. Grassy, a bit caramelly malty flavor.

Milchig gelbes Bier mit einer ordentlichen weißen Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr grasig, trocken, hopfig fruchtig. Geschmack nach Zitronen, trocken, mild hopfig.

Getreidig spritziger Antrunk, etwas dünn. Wenig herber werdend, getreidig, passende trockene Bitterkeit. Rund, ok. 11/9/9/9/10/9
