0,33 l bottle. Pitch black in the glass, nearly two finger dark beige head. Dark malt and some licorice on the nose. Taste starts with choco and dark malt. Some berriefruits. Increasing dark fruity sweetness and hopy background in the second part. Mid coffee finish. Strong for a Porter.

Bottle 330ml. [ As Riedenburger Dolden Dark ].Clear dark black brown color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, roasted, sweet malt, light to moderate chocolate. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, roasted, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160422]

At Craft Bier Fest Wien, 2015. Pours black with beige head. Roasted malty, milk chocolate, sweet. Bitterish finish. Medium bodied.

Bio Dark Porter ze slodu jęczmiennego i pszenicy emmer. Czarne oleiste geste, mętne wielka ciemno brazowa piana, średnio trwala. Zapach prazonego i palonego slodu, trocge grillowanego dymu. Smak sliwki w czekoladzie, czarne oliwki i nieco coca-coli. Ogolnie dobre choć średnio wyraziste. Koncowka niewiele pozostawia poza pewna slodowoscia i czekolada na ustach.

33 cl bottle @ hotel room, Berlin. Aroma is sweet with molasses, vanilla and cocoa. Flavour is sweet and sticky with molasses, raisins and malty notes. Also mild vanilla. This has some sweet East European porter vibes. Nicely balanced despite all that.

Pours dark brown from the bottle with a dirty tan head. The head is bubbly and rapidly collapses in on itself. Aroma is milk chocolate, lots of roasted dark malts, toffee, and lightly portwine. Relatively light bodied, smooth, The roasted notes dominate the taste, but with strong hops undertones and a surprising berry fruitiness. Unfortunately the tastes seem more in competition with one another than in harmony. A chocolate sweetness greets the tongue, quickly followed by a sour bitterness. The chocolate arises again in the finish, which is short. Decent.

Bottle from Bierbaboon. Dark oil with a thin head. Aroma is sour malt. Flavour is fruit licorice, sweet dark fruit on a dry sour finish. Tangy base.
