Bottle(from the local organic shop): Literally black, small off-white foamy layer; dense sweetish-roasty nose with a tinge of vanilla and a certain amount of secret fruits; moderate to solid sweet flavour with a very faint sourish touch, soft and medium bodied; slightly drier sweet toasty and a bit caramelly finish with a delicate acidity in the aftertaste. Good, but a bit on the sweet side…

Minimal brown head on a black fluid. Amazing combination of dark aromas like coffee and chocolate with a long finish. Not watery as some of its colleagues. A little too bitter for my taste.

Die modernen Bierstile gehen auch an der Riedenburger Brauerei nicht vorbei. So gibt man auch ein Porter heraus. Und das finde ich wirklich gelungen. Es hat zwar einen etwas brotigen Unterton, aber die rauchigen Malzaromen können mich überzeugen. Es ist tiefschwarz und nicht zu bitter, aber auch nicht zu flach. So soll ein gutes Porter sein.

pours an opaque dark reddish black with an espresso-like beige head and a nice lacing. aroma of toasted malts, fruit cake, licorice. flavour of rye bread, sour milk, cheese, coriander seeds, coffee. nice and bready.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel. Thanks Vova. Black-colored with a bit of tan foam. Aroma of roast, chocolate, a bit of coffee, yeast, and vegetal notes. Sweetish flavor, roasty, with a sourish hint, coffee, yeast, a bit of chocolate, and vegetal notes. Medium-bodied.

Bottled at SB&WF 2015, first weekend.Clear dark red to black color, small teal head. Malty, sweet, roasted, some alcohol scent, also cocoa and chocolate. Malty, light sweet, toffee taste. Toffee aftertaste. Medium smooth mouthfeel, low bitterness.
