Cold fermented lager combining British lager malt, American hops and true lager yeast to create a truly crisp, refreshing beer. Pale and dry, with overtones of citrus fruits, some grassy freshness, and a wonderful assertive clean bitterness to finish

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden and a little hazy. Aroma and taste are rich hops, flowers, malt, fruits and has a nice bitter grassy finish.

Bottle at home, from ABM, 07/03/14. Lightly hazed orange amber with a well appointed off white head. Nose is pithy citrics, peach, light mineral tones, straw, toasted malts. Taste comprises orang pith, straw, citric sherbet, toasty, chalky minerals, mandarin. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, crisp drying close. Another well made beer from Redchurch.

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, orangey golden colour with average, firm, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Hoppy aroma with a mineral and fruity touch, unripe kiwi, mandarine, orange zest. Taste is initially bitter and fruity hoppy, later the dry, grainy basis with husk notes appears, slightly metallic finish. Takes its quality all from the ale-imitating hoppy character; with the hop flavours passing away a mediocre, grainy, husky basis emerges at the surface. Not fully convincing.

Keg at the hanging bat. Pours hazy yellow, no real head to speak of. Strong lemon citrus aroma, lemon bitter taste. OK.

Bottled 330ml ABM. Hazy orange color, small steady head, some lace. Strong exotic fruity aroma. Medium-bodied. Lots of fruits: kiwi, passion, zest, later resiny/piney bitterness. Lager? Oh boy, tastes like fruity ale. Super.

Hazy gold beer with a good white head. Palate is softish but with good minerally carbonation. Thin and mildly creamy malt. Good hops, not too bitter. Mild citrus and a touch of pine. Finishes crisp. A really nice lager! More please!

Bottled (from AbM). Slightly hazy deep golden colour with a mediumsized foamy/fluffy head. Aroma is citrusy and floral hops along with some bready and mild toffeeish notes as well. Flavour is nicely bitter fruity and floral with also some nectary notes as well as some sweet toffeeish maltyness. Nice bitterness in the finish as well. Now for the question, is this really a real lager, or an ale made to seem like a lager... anyhow, good stuff!

Tap at Redchurch Brewery, Bethnal Green, London. A golden yellow coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, citrus fruit aroma. Tastes hoppy, citrus fruit, malty. An interesting highly drinkable pilsener. Really liking this brewery.

Keg at the brewery tap room, London. Pours clear, yellow-gold with a fine, white foam head. Lovely, citrusy hop nose, some lime, tangy pee. Light to medium sweet with like, orange, rice, lychee, tangy tangerine, pee. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Mild piney hops to finish, some dry pale malts, lime, urine. Really great stuff. Great balance. Wonderful citrusy hops. Really, really good.
