Light brown fluffy head stayed well on a near black opaque body. Minimal aroma hints of dried fruit & plum. Thick, creamy & smooth on the palate. Sweet with dark sugar, stewed fruit, liquorice, candy, nutty.

Keg at BD Boosh, 08/12/16. Black with a tan cap that soon dissipates to edging. Nose is cocoa powder, toffee, nutty, dark malts, light charr. Taste comprises chocolate peanut butter gnache, baking powder, light roast, faint hop dusting. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Decent enough PNB affair .. balanced and not too sweet.

Keg @ Hanging Bat, Edinburgh. Pours black, small tan head. Aroma is sweet roast and light peanut. Body is thin, oily with just enough peanut butter nestled amongst a chocolate and roast base. Decent.

Quarter at BrewDog, Clapham Junction. 05/08/16. Got to give top points for aroma as it does have a peanut butter aroma, if bitter and roasted. The beige head just clings to the edge of the glass, but has sone life to it. Otherwise a deep black. Quite a thick body - plenty of mouthfeel. A subtle nuttyness - getting a salt kiss, so agree with the beer menu on that. Would sum it up as just a really pleasant porter. Not overly dark, just hits the spot.

Keg at casc, Aberdeen. Pours black with a thin tan head. Aromas of earth, dung, funk. Potentially infected? Dry roasted peanuts. Taste is a bit grim. Oily, earthy. Drain pour.
