Bottle, 0.33l. Deep murky amber pour, huge frothy off-white head, long lasting. Lots of thick lacing on the glass. Seems a bit over carbonated. Herbal, earthy, grainy nose. Notes of citrus in the background. Thin to medium body, soft carbonation. Chewy texture, smooth mouthfeel. Bitter peppery taste. Somewhat weird vegetable-like aroma lingering on the palate. Herbal spiciness, yeast, mild citrus tart. Earthy. Malty background, mild sweetness. Slight sticky, dry. Medium lasting finish, peppery. A bit on the weird side but interesting to try.

Bottle @ Home. Pours clear dark golden with a creamy offwhite head, light lacings. Aroma of malt, light caramel, light earthy, spice, juniper, orange. Flavor is sweet, malty, light caramel, light spicy, juniper, earthy, light fruit, old hops. Medium body, average carbonation, sweet light bitter finish. 080819

Hazy pale amber colour, huge frothy beige head, good retention, patchy lacing. Fruity aroma, pale malt, orange, light pomelo, black currant, blueberry, herbal (juniper) notes. Flavour medium sweet and light bitter, malty, berries, light caramel, herbal notes. Soft malty aftertaste, light orange peel, herbal and earthy notes. Medium body, oily texture, lively carbonation; well-balanced and quaffable, very nice.

Tap at Valhalla. Hazy coppery body with a lasting small off white head. Pungent aroma, tropical and berry notes, some malty undertones. Blueberry juice taste-wise really, with some herbal hoppy notes too and a bitter finish. Definitely a good beer!
