Small bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is dark malt, caramel, some cocoa, raisins, iron, mild powdery chocolate. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter. Body is light to medium with some very annoying carbonation. I was expecting way more chocolate, it lacks a lactose creaminess, I’m afraid this poor beer is only a fart in the face of the chocolate milk stout potential.

250mml bottle as part of the European Summer Secret Santa 2016 edition, many thanks to Benzai for this one. Tasted on the 29/08/2017. Dark brown colour with a low off-white head. Aroma of chocolate, milk, malts and nuts. Taste is milky chocolate with lactose and roasted malts. Next one please!

Bottle @ home thanks to RW80. Dark brown to black color, average sized beige to light brown head. Aroma is quite faint. Taste lightly malts, lightly chocolate perhaps even though I don’t really get it. Weird and a bit artificial. Quite crappy imo. Low bodied and low carbonation. Bleh.

Fles gekregen van Roelzie1986 en Koenzie, gedeeld met Inoven. Het is een lekkere chocolade Stout. Het is een donker bruin bier zonder schuim. Het heeft een lekkere zoete chocolade smaak, een beetje melk en een beetje droog.

leuk klein flesje, bijkomstigheid, na 1 dag dat ik deze op had, kwam het persbericht dat alle flesjes teruggebracht dienden te worden vanwege ontploffingsgevaar...gelukkig net op tijd geopend, schenkt wazig bruin met licht bruine kraag. aroma van geroosterde en gebrande mouten, chocolade, koffie. Smaken van koffie, matig bitter, geroosterde en gebrande mouten, redelijk veel chocolade, melkchocolade, redelijke body, lage co2, cacao, iets droog in de afdronk.

25 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Gall&Gall Culemborg. Dark brown with an off-white head. Roasted malts aroma with some chocolate. Taste is sweet but not as sweet as I feared. Again some chocolate in taste and finish. Not bad at all.

Bottle at home. Clear mahogany pour with a thin and short-lived tan head. Notes of roasted malts, a bit of chocolate, dark fruit and cocoa. Not bad, but nothing special either. --- Beer merged from original tick of Tony's Chocolatemilk Stout on 09 Feb 2017 at 18:58 - Score: 6
