Cherry Brown brewed with Morello cherries; an effervescent brown ale with gorgeous aromas of red cherries, flavours of sour red cherries and juicy toffee malt. We put the first keg on for our brewery tour today and it went down a storm!

Keg at Euston Tap. It pours hazy deep brown with a thick beige head. The nose is all about the sweet ripe cherry, as well as earthy toast and brown bread. The taste is toasty, earth, ripe cherry, earth, warming alcohol, caramel, fruity tan and candy cane. Medium body, prickly carbonation and slightly sticky mouth-feel. Pretty heavy duty for a fruit beer, but not a that bad. A touch on the sweet side perhaps....

Euston Tap. Keg. Light haze on this deep red - amber beer, good pale cream coloured head. Palate is airy with fine carbonation, semi dry. Light airy creamy malt. Nice cherry, not sweet, not tart. Slight hop bitterness. Light smooth finish. Very drinkable.

Keg at Ye Olde Euston Tappe - London. Pours pours clear, red-hued light brown with a fine, creamy head. The nose holds bready malts with nips of sugary berries. Medium sweet flavor, flabby, with mild bread, toffee, ripe cherry. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, more sugary fruits, cherry candies, light alcohol, leaves, metal, bread. Ho hum. I don’t really see the point here.
