Moon and Starfish Spoons. Cask. Almost clear gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and semi dry with decent fine carbonation. Mild marmalade. Dominant floral lemongrass. Trace of Turkish Delight. Mild spice and lime. Smooth semi dry finish. Went very well with spicy Nachos!

Cask at the Gig House (JDW), Wokingham. Pale amber with a loose cream head; sweet grainy aroma; light caramel taste, with some dry grassy bitterness; and a clean finish with perhaps a touch of lemon grass.

Cask at the Windlesora, Tourist Town Zentrum, 20/04/15. Lightly hazed golden orange with a decent white cap. Nose is melon, fresh grass, bread dough, light spice, citric sherbets. Taste comprises mellow fruits, lemon zest, floral notes, nectarine, light spice. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, subtle hop bitterness in the close. Ok pale - SHV?

Cask @ Fall Well, Liverpool. Golden with a creamy-smooth head. It’s nice an smooth in its texture too with a light fruit hop in its nose and taste, fused with some malt. Balanced, with a medium to full body.

Cask at The George, Croydon. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The nose is sweet, fragrant, lemongrass, sweet citrus and light herbal notes. The taste is bitter-sweet, sticky, grainy, lemongrass, spice, floral, leather and sherbet lemon boiled sweetness with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. A bit messy and all over the place. Doesn’t work for me at all.

15th April 2015: hand-pulled cask pint in my local Wetherspoons. Clear old gold body with a good white crown that gave some impressive lacing: so condition good. I found the beer a little basic and boring to be honest, a semi-sweet toffee apple aroma and taste with a really dry finish: other malty molasses and fruits could well have been in the flavours but I lost interest after the first two sips.

Cask at Counting House (JDW). Copper colour with a tight creamy head. Citrus aroma. Lemon and lime flavours with melon in the aftertaste. Not bad, would definitely seek out the original
