24th Jan 2015: shared bottle at the Cotteridge Wine meet. Poured a very dark brown with a tanned top of foam. Coffee and chocolate aroma, taste the same, this is all about the malts with very little hop influences. Not bad at all.

Bottle at Cotteridge wine convention; hazy dark brown pour with a frothy light tan head, quite a fruity aroma, taste has chocolate, dark fruits, ok.

12 oz. bottle, pours a dark brown with a medium tan head. Nose brings out espresso, roasted malt, and some dry cocoa. Flavour is quite robust, with espresso and roasted malt. Medium body, with a rather robust profile. On the higher end of carbonation. Decent stuff, just nothing special.
