This Imperial version of our Pina Colada Ale is aged in Nicaraguan rum barrels for months and then blended with pineapple and coconut, just like the tropical drink. Beachbum Barry would be proud!

Keg at route CBC Clapham, 02/10/2015. Mostly clear golden orange coloured pour with a lasting thin white head. Aroma is funky, hairspray, perfume, solvent, pineapple and coconut. Flavour is composed of sweet coconut and pineapple, light caramel, funky tang, perfume and more solvent. Palate is rounded, semi sweet with moderate carbonation . Not for me.

Craft Clapham. Keg. Route 66 event with most of the London crew. Hazy amber beer, good cream colour head. Palate is light and crispy. Sweetish malts, creamy. Good rum soaked fruits. Sweet apricot, peach and pineapple. Light floral character. Light finish. Comes together really well.

Keg at Route CBC, CBC Clapham, 02/10/15. Hazed orange golden with a decent egg shell white covering. Nose is pineapple, orange, straw, earthy, sweet notes, vanilla. Taste comprises pineapple chunks, coconut, light tarte fleshy fruit notes, mango pulp, barrel notes, light wood. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent number, a little sweet for me, is this really 11%? Drinks way below that mark.

Draft at Craft Beer Co. Clapham during Route CBC - London. Pours clear yellow-gold with a creamy white head. The nose holds pale wood, tangy citrus, marmalade. Medium sweet flavor with some oily coconut, vanilla, bread, light citrusy tang. Medium bodied, creamy, with fine carbonation. Lightly warming on the finish, with more oily coconut, lemon creme, pale bread, tangerine. Nice one.
