50 cl bottle. Pours hazy dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted and breadish. Dry, toasted and light bitter. Roasted dry malty into the finish.

bottle. Dark colour, tiny head. Beautifully malty aroma. Fruity, hints of roasted malt and nuts. Very pleasant.

Bottle picked up in Swanage, Dorset 20-06-06. Dark reddy brown in colour, there is some nuttiness as description suggests, but quite fruity and a little on the sweet side malt and hops also show well. A fine if not particularly enthralling beer.
