50 cl bottle. Pours hazy dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted and breadish. Dry, toasted and light bitter. Roasted dry malty into the finish.

Bottle picked up in Swanage, Dorset 20-06-06. Dark reddy brown in colour, there is some nuttiness as description suggests, but quite fruity and a little on the sweet side malt and hops also show well. A fine if not particularly enthralling beer.
